Speaking to Zen, he said:
"I am really excited to be joining Leek, it's a club with a lot of history and success. The boys have shown a lot of character these past few seasons and I am hoping to help contribute to the clubs success in the future"

Head of Cricket Rob Haydon also had this to say:
"We are absolutely delighted to sign Zen. He has shown himself to be one of the leading batsmen in the county over the last few years and is a player we have long admired, often in his knocks against us!"

"He definitely seems to like batting at Leek when we have been on the receiving end. We also believe he is a dangerous bowler who has an impressive strike rate with his different variations. Add this to his brilliant fielding and we believe we have signed a player who can help contribute to winning games with all three disciplines."

"I am delighted to have Zen sign for Leek Cricket Club. He is a quality player whom I’ve personally had many battles with on the field but also shared some great partnerships with bat and ball when representing Staffordshire. Hopefully we can build many more partnerships for this coming season. I wish him every success at Leek CC."
