Over the years, Leek Cricket Club have had the honour of having some incredible International Cricketers as their professional player for the season.
Whether it is for one game or for a full season or two, it's always a pleasure to see fantastic cricketers at our home ground of Highfield.
Some of Leek's most notable professionals of the last 20 years include; Albie Morkel, Ryan Sidebottom, Alex Hales & Ottis Gibson.
The 2009 season saw Ryan Sidebottom play one game for Leek CC as he returned from injury.
Along with the International names listed above there has been a whole host of domestic & oversees professionals that have seen Leek have great success over the years.
This includes the period of 2013 to 2014 when Leek Cricket Club had former Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire bowler Nadeem Malik as the pro.
Leek went on to win the Staffordshire Cup in his second season as pro.
